The kitchen fitter returned yesterday to add an extra shelf to a cupboard and to put in the bits needed to change a plain drawer into a herb and spice drawer.
The original plan for the spices didn't work out, but this is an excellent alternative. I'm delighted.
They are nice and close to the oven but neatly out of the way. And I can see clearly exactly what I have and check the best before dates.
It feels like a decadent treat.
Feel like quite the grown up with my spice drawer.
