One of the best magazines in the world in my humble opinion. I love Victoria magazine and can only buy it on ebay. I've got a lot of them, some dating back to the 90's, they are magazines to enjoy over and over, and I do. Whereas my stash of Vogue magazine was nothing more than a hoard, Victoria magazines I pick up often.
However, I have had to stop myself buying any more of their Afternoon Tea specials, and the Christmas editions. Both are gorgeous but tend to be more or less the same each time, down to the recipes included, meaning I've have more than enough. I don't buy it each time a new copy is available, but when I knew this one was coming out for September I kept a lookout. I've been pacing around my favourite Ebay sellers page waiting for them to have it. I ordered it on Monday, it arrived yesterday. It doesn't disappoint, it is a glorious edition.
The cheesecake on the front has me wanting to make it. Earl Grey Lemon cheesecake. yum. It is a baked cheesecake, so again it's going on my 'when it's cooler' to bake or cook list.
We had the briefest showers yesterday afternoon, barely tickling the leaves. We need good, substantial rain. It still feels warm, but the wind is picking up and I see quite a bit of grey tinted sky. Could it be true that we will get rain/storms later on today?
