Halls are decked

Last year I put candlesticks, foliage, and nuts and fruits in wine glasses along the mantelpiece. It was so quick and easy, and I thought it looked beautiful. So I've done exactly the same again this year, with the addition of a few fresh cranberries here and there.
It looks sumptuous, luxurious and elegant, but takes absolutely no artistic talent or time whatsoever, and you can eat the decorations which is always a good thing.
The tree is naked again. Well, the skiing bears and and three mice are back, but that's the lot! I don't know of I'm just supremely lazy or if I'm a total genius. Either way, it works well and can be set up and dismantled very quickly indeed.
