The decorating has been done and I couldn't resist showing it. The dark colour is another F&B, which means it looks different in different lights. It's called Downpipe and is a dark grey with green undertones. We are so pleased with it. The question the decorator gave me yesterday was 'are we doing the door in it too?' ooh. Had not really thought about it. Initially I said no, let's keep it a white satin. Then I went downstairs in a cloud of thought and talked to Violet about it before she went to college. Then I went back upstairs and said 'do it, paint the door the same as the panelling'. So pleased we have gone for it, it looks really good, a little pub like as Violet pointed out, but nothing bad about that. The upper wall colour is also F&B, it's named Ammonite, a greyish white. The colour carries on over the ceiling too.
Tomorrow I expect the plumber and the electrician, both of whom are very welcome, they're really nice blokes. The plumber has two black kittens so I pester him to show me photos of them, and again, if I had to leave the house for a while I know Henry cat would be safe.

Deleteyep, there is that chance. Not sure, blogger does make stupid changes, before if you renamed or deleted a blog the comments stayed up unless deleted by the author, but I've no idea if that's the case or not. And to be honest it's up to everyone what they do, not my buisness, but sometimes patience wears thin. At the moment my patience is as thin as ice, my anxiety pretty high, so I'm probably a little over sensitive. Normally I keep quiet and ignore it, but I'd rather someone just stayed away and let me blog in my own quiet way than pop up now and then and expect a warm welcome. Like I say, got so much actual crap going on in real life, really not in the mood to tolerate stuff online too, I come here to blog and do fun things.
Not sure who I want to win. I like the bloke who did the world cake thing, and I think Maxy is fantastic and so lovely. So either of those are my favourite.
That's lovely Sadie. I have a full black door in the shower room and a half black door in the toilet, running in line with the height of that colour on the walls.
