Pleasant weather today, still hot and sunny, but there is a beautiful breeze blowing. It's perfect, not stifling.
Here I am in my new home. The name purely reflects the main thing about my life: home, family and flowers. Nothing clever. It's simpler and I really like it. With a bit of luck it'll help keep me inspired to write. It should help keep the blog small too, which is perfect for me these days.
Life is changing in so many ways right now. Most of them are good, but one is not. But we'll deal with it and we'll cope with it. Because that's what we do.
An old friend once said to me that you can't change what life throws, but you can control your reaction and how you deal with it. That stuck with me, and has helped enormously over the last 6 years of trials and tribulations we've gone through as a family.
